Join us this festive season for a magical whistle stop tour ofÊCinderella, as a fairyÕs wand brings LeedsÕ legendary City Varieties music hall back to life in all its glowing grandeur. This filmed version features a cast of three professional opera singers (and two puppets) accompanied by a pianist and a violinist, itÕs the perfect chance to experience the charm of opera whatever your age!

Music includes extracts in English from several different takes on the fairy tale, including RossiniÕs operaÊLa Cenerentola, MassenetÕs operaÊCendrillon, Pauline ViardotÕs operettaÊCendrillonÊand Rodgers and HammersteinÕs musicalÊCinderella.
