16 Dec - The Snowman & The Nutcracker Victoria Hall Orchestra of Opera North
Ben Palmer - conductor John Williams - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Tchaikovsky - Suite: Nutcracker Howard Blake - The Snowman The score to Raymond Briggs’ The Snowman is arguably the most cherished soundtrack to the Christmas season. Always a Christmas favourite at Leeds Town Hall, the Orchestra of Opera North performs the music live in all its heart-melting splendour to a screening of the animation. Sure to captivate the imaginations of young and old alike, this is not only the perfect way to spend time with loved ones, but a wonderful introduction to the thrills, chills and power of a symphony orchestra performing live.
